Hi everybody! 

 I love Japanese beer and I especially enjoy drinking cold beer with friends so today’s expression is a cool beer idiom.

瓶ビールか缶ビールが終わったらアメリカ人はよく…

That’s a dead soldier

って言うんです。

Of course you can say “This beer is finished” or “This bottle is empty” but “This is a dead soldier” is a cool and interesting phrase.  

So, next time you have a beer with a friend and you pour him or her the last few drops try saying… 

That’s a dead soldier.
