Hi everybody!
October is almost here!
It’s a fun (and spooky👻) season and I hope you all have some fun plans for Halloween.🎃 And maybe you have some travel plans, too!? So here is how native speakers talk about their plans:
A: Do you have any plans for the holidays?
B: Yes, I’m going to Vegas.
A: Oh, sounds nice! How long are you gonna stay? (←これは`How long are you going to stay?´の省略です。 How long are you going to stay?
B: I’m gonna be there for 10 days.
A: Sounds great!
Here are some more expressions to practice…
What are you gonna do in Vegas?
I`m gonna relax on the by the pool. (“Relax”
I`m gonna go shopping.
I`m gonna eat a lot of steak and American food.
Is your wife going, too?
Yeah, she`s gonna go.
What`s she gonna do there?
She`s gonna get a massage.
Are you gonna play any sports?
Yeah, we`re gonna play golf.
Well, that`s all for today.
Bob
