Here is a message I got from a new Japanese friend the other day: “I read your blog. It’s good for easy understand.” “It’s good for easy understand” って意味は分かるけどかなりおかしいです。 Of course I said thank you!!! Because I knew she meant 「分かりやすい」. I was happy to get the kind comment from her and I was happy to get the message because 「分かりやすい」 is a very useful phrase in English.
